We met in a piano bar, rehearse next to a sex shop, and take our name from an Eddie Murphy Saturday Night Live sketch. Our average age is 29.6 and everyone in the band is (apparently) heterosexual. We believe music should have a good, constant groove to it, and firmly agree that everyone should be good to their mothers, and brush their teeth three times a day.
People we have been fortunate enough to share a stage with: Little Feat (thrice!), Jon Spencer Blues Explosion; Derek Trucks Band; Acoustic Ladyland; Roddy Frame; Mark Eitzel (named Greatest Living Songwriter in Spin and Rolling Stone magazine); Stephen Fretwell, Shooter Jennings, Magne Furuholmen, Hayseed Dixie, Anne McCue, etc.

BRUCE CAMPBELL (12th February, 2009)
"The trio have a strong rapport while performing and it’s great to watch a band when you can tell they enjoy playing together... when the band wrapped up their final number of a two hour set everyone was left wanting more."
