6-24-09 REST IN PEACE TIM KREKEL at the present time this long term project is on hold. In the following text you will note Tim was #1 on my list. He gave to so many. Last year during the time our friend Mary Levy Williams was being treated for lung cancer and my wife was being treated for breast cancer this project was conceived. I asked Tim if he would commit his name as a founding board member and he agreed. Due to my own personal reasons the project was slowed until they were resolved which was in March of this year the same time Tim was diagnosed with his cancer. This project will not die as long as I'm alive and will continue in the future after time and reflection................These are the wonderful friends of mine who have gotten on board to support my project to produce a CD to raise money for cancer research. I'm in the process of formin a 501(C)(3) nonprofit corporation and when that is complete and the board memebers seated I will be contacting everyone with the details as we will be gathering orginal happy uplifting songs, something you would listen to if you had cancer. At this point it appears I'll be having something to present to all about this project June of 09. So in the meantime I want to publically thank these fine folks and ask that you also support their music. Most can be found in my top friends.

When I was young I believed I could make a difference and I did but never to my expectations. Thinking all the right things and trying to communicate them to help the world be a better place can cause your ego to lie to ya and make you sad. I keep telling myself and trying to believe I'm doing the best I can. When I know I did the best I can that's when it's really fun and I'm the happiest. SO if it's the words I spoke or wrote or the poker hand I was dealt and played correctly or the artistry of that piece of wood I worked this is a life worth celebrating with you. Have fun and LOVE ONE ANOTHER! And always remember the object of poker as in life is making the right decisions...

About this above article, it seems I always knew this was true, now that it is medical fact I hope someone would be inspired to write a few more new happy songs. It is quite surprizing how many very happy songwriters write about things gone wrong or relationships that are ending or not working out right. Yes everybody has those feelings and can understand what you are talking about. How about writing about what really makes you happy and write a song that people might find some happiness from you that they may have never quite experienced themselves yet. Come on let's get some more people on your happy train. Cause everyone really just want to sing and dance and have a good time in their short experience with your music. Let's hear it for more happy fun songs and spread the word and the happiness.YEAH.................
