Hi my name is James David Taylor, I'm a pianist and composer. I gig from time to time and I like nothing more than sitting down at a piano and just playing. Other instruments I play include guitar, bass, drums, violin, ukulele and anything I can get my hands on. I play by ear, and once I learn a song, its in my head for life. My repertoire currently stands at about 600 pieces (ranging from classical to pop to blues to musical).
I am Musical Director for Illusion Youth Theatre As well as Rehearsal Pianist and Show Pianist for the Northampton Gang Show. Throughout December 2009 I will be performing at the Queen Eleanor Restaurant In Northampton in the evenings. I will be there from 7 every Monday and Wednesday. Why not come along one evening?
