JAMES DUMM: DEBUT ALBUM “LEAVE MY GUITAR ALONE” AVAILABLE NOW!!!
...James Dumm: The music is a tasty stew of various styles, but the end result is undoubtedly rock n’ roll. Plagued by an unhealthy obsession with AC/DC, James Dumm was inspired to pick up the guitar at age 11… and never looked back. Since then, James has been involved in the Colorado music scene for over 10 years: Having studied both classical and jazz guitar, as well as music business at the University of Colorado, James also teaches private guitar lessons full-time up and down the Colorado countryside for DogHouse Music (Boulder/Lafayette), Guitars Etc. (Longmont), and Castle Rock Music (Castle Rock).
…James has performed in many esteemed CO venues including The Fox Theatre and Cervantes’ Masterpiece Ballroom… He performed live on Colorado radio when he was featured as lead guitarist in a group hand-picked by Denver radio hosts Lewis and Floorwax… James has performed and collaborated with members of national touring acts such as Kinetix and Yo Flaco!, as also had the honor to share the stage with rock legends such as gospel-funk pedal steel virtuoso Robert Randolph and legendary guitarist of The Black Crowes, Marc Ford.
…His tireless dedication to his instrument, his deep love for all music, and his unique brand of songwriting can all be heard on James’ debut album, “Leave My Guitar Alone.” The album, which was co-produced by James and Josh Fairman, includes contributions from members of Kinetix, Yo, Flaco!, and Atavistic. The album is available NOW at CDBABY.COM and will be up on iTunes and available at local Denver retailers soon… Please check back regularly for updates about shows, new projects, new releases, etc.
