Action movies, spy flicks, Jaws... Sean Connery movies. I'll watch a movie because the actors are good, like Nicholas Cage, Jack Nicholson, and the top names in the industry.

The Closer... C-Span, Congressional hearings -- I love it how nice everyone is to each other when they are on camera.
About me: I've been a very lucky guy and have done a lot of beautiful things in my life. Like ocean racing sailboats, racing sports cars, traveling, and I've had some great jobs, too. I was a Weather Forecaster, an Astrogeophysical Data Analyst in a solar observatory, a Nuclear Scientist, and even worked in a steel mill as an Inspector on a continuous roll galvanizing line. And above all, I have been allowed to write and to create some (hopefully) meaningful poetry.
I've authored ten books: The Malagasy Tortoise, Orchids to Die For, Vendetta (co-authored with Catherine Burr); a hardback book of poems, Poetry; A Wreal Writers Cd story; a book of love poems titled, Expressions of Love, Evi's Blind Date, Jimmy Begood, a Sci-Fi Short, Mnomia's World, and 50 Going on 25.
Who I'd like to meet: Someone nice -- someone who just wants to be who they are. I'd like to walk through a Russian forest with Leo Tolstoy and throw cats into Lake Michigan with the poet Carl Sandberg who wrote about it. But, they are gone now... I'd like to meet the President, he seems like a nice guy outside of his occupation. I'd like to meet Bill Gates; maybe go out for a beer with him, just hang out... Maybe bowl a couple of games? There are a couple who I'd like to punch in the nose, too. But, I'll not name them here...

The reading is going just fine, thanks. I am on Chapter 28. I had to stop reading today when my grandson came over. I got to play with my grandson this afternoon, he is the sweetest little boy on earth! And very handsome too!
