Acoustic guitarist and singer/songwriter from the UK, I've recently moved back to London after six years abroad. I play in an acoustic folk/rock/pop style and my songs deal with a variety of serious and light-hearted subjects including politics, homosexuality, George Bush, alcohol, cigarettes, Jesus, love and terrorism. Before returning to the UK I spent the three years in Fukuoka, Japan, where I fronted the The James Heneghan Acoustic Roadshow, and three years in the south of Spain, where I was vocalist and rhythm guitarist for Gato Malo.
heyhey! It's been 3 months since I moved to Canada. Yes, I so very miss my car and cellphone :( My car's gone to somebody else already and I cannot afford to have a cell here. I hope to hear of your "fun life in london" story! :)
guess who is sitting next to me? if it isn't the lovely Jo! First made her watch two Jonathan Richman videos and then she showed me yours! (video that is). I like it, I must say. Dont you think we should talk her into getting a profile too? Then she can post her own videos!!!
I've made me a new "EP", see? Some old songs. Some new songs. Most excitingly, my backing group - The Grizzly Folk - include such luminaries as Feebis Dalton, J.B.Purvis and Silent Jimmy McQueen! Seriously, you don't know what you're missing.
alright james!! hows it going back home? found yourself some new places to play yet?! best of luck! we've got a mini Japan tour coming up - think it could be the highlight of my entire life!! anyway, hope the culture shock is under control again now and the digestive system has got used to the chips, dunc
