In a joint venture with Showcase Productions of Dallas, Texas, Star Harbor Animation has begun developing a line of children's clothing, comic books, graphics novels, music and storybook CD's, a series of video games and a 13-episode television pilot of its STAR ISLAND adventure series.

Music
As a young boy I loved to wander with my best friend and faithful companion, a Cocker Spaniel named Lucky, through the woods and streams around the family home. Imagining my surroundings with voices, my first musical intrigues involved cutting my teeth by making up simple songs.
At the wise old age of four, I remember singing to the birds and trees as if they heard me. Unaware I lived in a fairytale, the oldest ballad I recall was about playing poker. Go figure. As my lungs, vocal chords and interests matured, I began singing Elvis, Broadway musicals, Motown, the Beatles and the many social sounds of the sixties and seventies "under the boardwalk".
Stil today I confess whenever a stirring melody, honest lyric, precise arrangement and unforgettable voice magically work together and cut my heart to the quick, I am completely undone and become soft, pliable putty in the hands of the artists. In fact, i have come to live for those eternal moments where everything inside and around you becomes one.
To all the countless songsters and musicians who have contibuted to the maturation and solace of my soul, thank you. May I one day repay y'all in kind.

The first day of Spring
Dallas, Texas
For all who've loved and lost. . . born countless unjust rejections like Christ. . . held fast to Jesus' Most Sacred Heart, when human hearts failed you. . . carried your cross through time as faithfully as the saints of every age. . . shared the depths of your soul with anyone unappreciative of your time, energy, compassion, passion, thoughts, hopes, dreams, beliefs and goals. . . heard the sound of rain drops approaching like a stampede of runaway soldiers, afraid to fight for love. . . been betrayed by game players, those whose obsessive consumption with their personal fears makes them indelicate with other people's hearts. . . been lied to and then scorned for trusting your betrayer(s). . . found the courage to move on, when mocked for your views and integrity. . . cast your pearls before the ungrateful, uninspired and self absorbed. . . known the pain of unrequited affection, belittled gifts, false accusation, injustice, abuse, loneliness among others, abandonment, exile, isolation and derision. . . and through it all, survived the curse of a superficial, self-centered existence. . . consumed only with the most tender expression of love for your persecuters our mortal souls can hold. Introspecting
What is life if Love’s pain ne’er appears?
The open heart aspires a richer form
of expression as naturally as
the wind pursues leaves falling through the years
chronicling the terms by which we’re born
into existence. Who does not pass
through the halls of Time’s evaporation
unto that mystic realm where spirits roam
more comfortably than human beings,
so why not ponder what moves the oceans
articulating moods through mists and foam,
alike the motion of the seasons?
Why not explore depths we’ll ne’er attain,
when all we’ll ever hold disappears?
It seems we’re entwined exactly as
our Father knew we’d be when he made rain
a parallel for untapped dreams and fears,
but even that descriptive phrase,
oft writ and oft explained by sage poets,
as nothing more than a metaphor
pales when matched to particulate Love,
the substance of creative souls, who know it’s
always something else, aye, so much more
than words can ever capture, so
where is the meaning of our trek through time
if matter without form composes us
alike, hallowed symphonies that
need all sections to halt sense and rhyme
the basic principles devotion
to detail brings when sons please dads
devoted to their well-being and care
as constantly as angels who protect,
guard and guide our consciences
with unseen prompts and nudgings? Thus, beware,
there is nothing to do but accept
without Love nothing makes sense.
If this reflection inspires but one to learn

Star Harbor Games is developing both board and video games tied to the STAR ISLAND franchise. The first project is an interlocking 3D board game, that will ultimately consist of six individual game boards representing different sections of Star Island joined together to form a "Master Game Set".
Star Harbor Sports has contracted with a PA textile manufacturer to create a line of casual faded sportswear for teens all brandishing the company's distinctive boy and dog logo as a patch. Designer fashions will follow as a part of phase 2 expansion.
Star Harbor Records is the studio's new label close to coming off the drawing board and introducing a handful of newly discovered singers, songwriters and musicians of exceptional talent. Coincidently, the company is scouting an appropriate studio location to self record its unique blend of music and style. Besides releasing singles with Star Harbor talent singing songs from STAR ISLAND, the studio plans to grow as a cooperative creative community, where its recording artists will be granted the freedom to express themselves minus the unwanted heavy-handed demands of some larger labels. Apart from a standard morals and language clause, the studio's founder hopes to provide a creative haven for performing artists worn out from having to compromise their individual voices, i.e. who they are.

John 15:1-3 Have you ever seen fruit grow apart from the vine, tree, or plant to which it was attached? Of course not! As a disciple of Jesus, the same is true for you. unless you stay in His presence, you will not grow or bear fruit. The word, abide means " to dwell; to take up residence in your life. Just as the vine is the source of nourishment and wealth for the fruit, Jesus is your source of life. Cultivate an ever-growing relationship with Him by spending time with Him in prayer, reading and studing God's word.
