About me:
I am an illustrator (JamesJAJAC.com) and I also draw cartoons. I'd like to work on really big projects that are very ambitious and unusual. My friends and I have a short film called "TIM WARNER: A LIFE IN THE CLOUDS", a fun short live action mock-u-mentary about a miserable cartoonist who is world famous and also a complete bastard. The film is about his journey from the top of the heap in the comic strip universe to...well where ever it is he ends up. I am interested in film and comics and writing and comedy. I also write songs on my banjo. If I were a character actor, I would be Jim Varney, Charles Bronson, Christopher Lloyd, and Orson Welles. (JamesJAJAC.com)
Who I'd like to meet:
Reliable creative funny people. Who are smart. And nice. And neon pink. and a penquin. <a

Concerning Roger Ebert's Review

I would like to address my concerns over what I see as a compelling reason to have Roger Ebert's review removed from all consideration. In the points below, I will quote from Ebert's review and point out the obvious mistakes he has made. From the sheer number of these obvious mistakes, one has to wonder if he even watched the movie at all. Certainly he is not in the position to write a review about it.

1."Don’t get me wrong. This is fun. And when Leonard Nimoy himself returns as the aged Spock, encountering another Spock... It’s more like a little ambiguous dialogue is exchanged, and they’re off to battle the evil Romulan Capt. Nero (Eric Bana)."

*Future spock does not make his presence known to young spock until the very end of the movie. He even explains to young Spock WHY he did not make his presence known!

2. The logic is also a little puzzling when Scotty can beam people into another ship in outer space, but they have to physically parachute to land on a platform in the air from which the Romulans are drilling a hole to the Earth’s core."

*It is fully explained why they cannot beam to the drill. Twice. Transporters are non-functional because all communications and transporter activity is being jammed.
** They didn't parachute to the drill attacking Earth, they parachuted to the one attacking Vulcan!

3. "A few years after he’s put on suspension by the Academy and smuggled on board the Enterprise by Bones McCoy (Karl Urban), he becomes the ship’s captain."

*It is Leonard "Bones" McCoy and Kirk does NOT become the ships captain until much later in the film. Spock is made captain first by Pike.

4."Eric Bana’s Nero destroys whole planets on the basis of faulty intelligence, but the character is played straight and is effective."

*No, only Pike thinks it
