Inspired by juke-joint blues and early rock n roll, he left Mississippi for Chicago where he became a fixture on the local music scene mixing blues with soul and awing audiences with his explosive delivery and intense platform shoe high step routine.
James performs with the All-Night Riders, a hard hitting and versitile group of rock n' rollers with a no nonsense and fresh approach to the blues.
