Freelance actor/writer/musician. The three frequently overlap. Studied composition with Robin Holloway and have had music commissioned by St Pauls' Cathedral Choir, Cambridge New Music Society, English Voices and Girton College Choir. I have also written and directed music of all kinds for film and theatre, including soundtracks for "The Ghost of Kirkton Fell" and "Summer’s End", and music for recent productions such as "The Rise and Fall of Deon Vonniget" (February 2006), "Lost!" (May 2005), "With Blacks" (March 2003) and "Oedipus" (February 2002). This all sounds very weighty and portentous, though interestingly most people seem to remember me as the one who tinkles the ivories at parties and sings comic songs about cheese and sperm. I wrote them as well.
If you're more interested in the latter, you can purchase a copy of my (very good and ludicrously cheap) album by emailing clareweber@thefridayproject.co.uk
If your're more interested in free things, it is now possible to hear me podcasting on a weekly basis here. You can even download it on iTunes and it still won't cost you a penny.
Editing has just finished on my latest short film "Beach", which you can watch below.
Also there's "Hide and Seek" below. The handsome lad in the bow tie - that's me, that is.
News time! Well, I have written off two bikes in a month so am in the market for one. Never got that e-card, but now I really want one! There is so much Doctor Who on TV that I am finding it hard to leave my flat. Writing a show with that old cad Ed Weeks. It's going to be quite a year...
