Movies
Here's my speed reel if ya got literally a minute...
Television
24, Grey's Anatomy, The Office, Scrubs, Ugly Betty is my guilty pleasure, Nip/Tuck, The Shield and pretty much anything on ESPN, CNN, the history channel, or the discovery channel. I know, I'm a total nerd... Whatever, baby, I'm a visual learner!
Books
I'm a big fan of David Sedaris: Naked, Me Talk Pretty One Day, Holidays on Ice, Barrel Fever, Dress Your Family in Corduroy and Denium. However, my favorite writer is by far Naguib Mahfouz.
Heroes
Anderson Cooper, Steve Carrell, and Jon Stewart... oh and the person who invented myspace
About me: I've left this one blank for quite some time because I usually don't know how to explain myself on the spot. So, I thought it best to steal a piece of dialogue in which I shared a little bit about myself to an amazing person I met on myspace. This person asked me the simple question, "what moves you?" the response follows: What moves me, eh? Just about everything. I'm a very passionate person. So, much so that it frustrates me. I'm passionate about things that I don't even care about half the time. I'm always looking to make something more functional or efficient. Always looking to make other people's lives a little bit easier. Always looking to make change whether it be in the world, in my apartment, or at work. I never want to be stagnant because then I'll have stopped learning and growing (God for bid that happen I'm only 5'9" as it is). I guess that's why I love acting so much. What better metamorphosis can one achieve than stepping into the surreal skin of fantasy? No role is the same and the same is true of each performance. I'm sure it's somewhat similar for you as a writer. You write because your mind desires change. Change of mediocrity, complacency, and injustice. Whatever the desired change may be, you act (or write) passionately or compassionately towards capacious achievement. I guess we're all artists looking for that one cathartic experience so that we can move on to the next.
Hey everyone check out JMB's new film Eating Out 2: Sloppy Seconds now out on DVD! Also, just below you can catch a sneak peek of Cowboy Junction now available on Netflix or Blockbuster!
Myspace Contact Tables
Who I'd like to meet: People interested in art, love, and laughter. In no particular order...
Now, I cant be positve, but I'm pretty sure that you....well....uh...U SUCK! What am I chopped liver? you dont call (sniffle, tear), you dont write. I'm convinced that you have completely forgotten me and all the the loong talks we've had. You're about to be FIRED. Call me STAT!
Remember that one time when we were hanging out at my apartment with the Captain and decided it would be a great idea to walk to Ye Old Tattoo Parlor and get tats? But they couldn't get us in until 1 am, so we lost the mojo to be eternally tattooed?
I miss you. I don't do nearly as much stupid shit as I used to when you lived 2 miles from me :(
