Hi. I'm Jim. You may remember me from such bands as aldenbarton, Mo Matching Drapes, The Squeaky Fromme, The Princeton Reverbs Colonial, Macaroni Tony and the Fabulous Two, The Kirks, Lefty Murder Box, Deep Fiend, et cetera. I started playing drums in junior high, and while that is my forte (see the above mentioned bands), I also write my own songs. I started playing guitar under the name Skywriter around 1995. I found out that another guy in NYC is called/used to be called Skywriter, so now I am James of the woods. Thanks to Drew from aldenbarton for that name. I write songs with the regularity of a solar eclipse, so I am hoping that this myspace page (and all of yr support and love) will kick my butt in gear to keep writing, recording and maybe even one day, performing.
