How I made my profile: I used Dave & Jay's amazing myspace profile editor.Well im Irish and proud,Ive been living in England since I left school at around 17, I'm now 29, I'm a Qualified Plasterer, Decorator slash generally anything I get my hands on. I could say I'm a Singer Songwriter but everyone sings and I've only written 3 songs. Basically singing is everything to me, but in the past I've not had the chance to try and focus on it cos I've been busy in what I call the 'Real World', grafting on the buildings. About six months ago, I wanted to change something about my life and that was to try my best to try and squeeze my ass into the music industry. I just didn't want to end up being one of those people years down the line regreting not giving it ago. We all have idols and influences we one day hope to be half of at one stage or other. For me, its a bit closer to home and its my older brother paddy slatt aka Patrick Slattery, check him out, you wont regret it .HE IS EVERYTHING AN ALL ROUND ARTIST SHOULD BE. My voice isnt even that great but I think in time, you mature into ur own style or sound. I know some greats that were that bad, that they were good, they just grew on our ears. I can't play any instruments which is a bummer, but I can write feelings and emotions and life experiences down on paper and I think thats a start. Like JAMES MORRISON says 'Songs For You, Truths For Me'.
Anyway, I hope something good comes of this one day, otherwise I can join the long line of mad people on OURSPACE, haha!!

When i first decided that i would create a myspace page..on Dec 15 2008 my management , friends and advisors ...warned me not to use any information regarding Michael Jackson.. they said for me stay clear of him because of the negative press that was surrounding him... it was said that no one will accept me if i mention that he's my idol and no one will like the song Dear Michael Jackson because Michael is not popular any more. It was said that people will not like me at all if i took that route..It was put to me like this... you have to think of your career.. because this will surely hurt you. I thought about it for a day and said to them i don't give a dam what people think. I'am going to be a fan of michael before i become an artist... because if i dont i would be lieing....i told them if people dont like me because of who i love then what are they to me.... I have to be myself no matter what it may cost me.. But at the same time show them that i'am orginal..... the very songs that i wrote for Michael they said will hurt me did just the opposite... people loved them.... and my song Liberian Girl Remix... Friends was coming so fast it was crazy..... You see follow your heart and god will be close by.... Little did i know that the very song i wrote for Michael ....would turn out to be a blessing for those who loved him like i did.... a song i wrote for michael ,, became a song for his beloved
I would like to share with you something I was moved to write::
I hope you are doing great my friends... and i hope you are copeing with MJ's flight into the heavens.... We are all sadden and hurt.. but we must keep the faith.. as Michael Says, and keep going and show how he has touched our lives. I'am proud to be a Michael Jackson Fan...from the beginning to the end.. i have never lost faith in Mike and i never will... Please allow me to walk beside Michael and be like a shadow to him... I'am happy that individuals feel that i sound like him,, and remind them of his sweet voice... But there is only one Michael Jackson, and their will never be another... He's a icon of epic porportions... I'am glad to of been the generation that got to see him up close and witness his magic... I'am always thinking of you Michael day and night.. and i only hope you are looking down on us, and never leave us alone....for we are not alone... You have givin us the opportunity to see the limits of Gods power when he bless someone with a Gift... You are surely a work of Art, a Masterpiece that is glorious to behold. Your entire body would execute moves that would boggle the mind... and dazzle one's eyes. How can we not watch you when you are in your Zone... BREAKING NEWS!!! I got pulled over by the COPS, handcuffed & put in the back of the car. All the while, my kids & me were calling on the name of YAHWEH, and the angels and archangels to protect me and deliver me from the hands of the enemy. 5 minutes later they let me go, no ticket no nothing!
