James Vargas is without doubt one of the most recognised, respected and sought after saxophonists in dance music today. He has recording credits with Ministry of Sound, Defected, Duffnote and Om records, features on scores of compilations and performs at the most glamorous house music nights all over the world. This year sees James on tour with with Great British Icon BOY GEORGE as well as the critically acclaimed RICHARD EARNSHAW . James' debut smooth jazz album "James Vargas",produced by smooth jazz prodigy OLI SILK on trippin records was distributed by Virgin in 2005 and garnered him 2 billboard USA radio top 20 hits. He plans to funk things up a bit for his eagerly anticipated second solo album which will be ready for release in the summer of 2012. In the meantime he will be taking care of sax duties for the legend that is BOY GEORGE and also RICHARD EARNSHAW'S live shows this year, featuring the mighty Jocelyn Brown, Carleen Anderson and Roy Ayers amongst a host of other highly distinguished talent.
