About James Veitch

Brought up in Manchester during the eighties in a creative environment exposed to an eclectic range of music at a time when the new punk and indie inspired scene was emerging. Emigrated to the middle-east in the nineties and was influenced by the Mediterranean penchant for emotive melodies and a daily intake of the only English-speaking channel available at the time, MTV. Once settled back in England, started songwriting on the household guitar and formed a short-lived band before deciding to carry on solo/acoustically. Continued gigging solo and collaborating with other musicians, forming various musical projects over the next few years, playing around the UK and receiving plenty of positive feedback. During the "Noughties" some notable gigs have included playing a couple of stints at the Wickerman Festival in Scotland and also at the Virtual Festivals event in London.
