Check us out at www.themeathooks.com also! The Meathooks started out as a two peice acoustic band with good "budz" James and Brian in early 2003 while living in Myrtle Beach, S.C. after college with some friends... They began playing the bars a few nights a week for rent money and free bars tabs.. Eventually the music became more serious and they moved home to NJ and resumed gigging in NJ/NYC/MD/DE/PA. Different members have come and gone over the last few years but the final 4 piece line-up is now in place! The Meathooks just finished their new LP which was recorded at Stephen Michael studios in Rockaway, NJ! The album was co-produced by Brian Wilson and Steve Babula and also engineered by Steve... The mastering sessions took place at "Right On Recording" in Baltimore, Md. The Meathooks are currently booking their spring/summer schedule and are expecting to have about 30 dates posted (including a few festival shows) to promote the new album, "No End In Sight.." Their live shows continue to draw more and more people and never fail to explore a wide varity of musical genres. (mostly rock, jam band, funk, experimental) Keep it here for new originals, antics, photos, tour dates, and your mom..

Thanx for the thoughts, but my brother has his own spot in the flat iron section of the lower east side. I made sure to make a copy of his keys for events just like this one coming up. Looking forward to some details. The album cover looks great. Can't wait to hear the new material.
Won't be long before Herns and a hung-over Artscape set the next afternoon!!
Driving on Smack is now part of the soundtrack to my life, however,it won't be played while I am driving and/or doing smack; probably best suited for surfing or running through pastures looking for fungus. Well done gentlemen!
Fell off another top 20....man my skills are down... Meat will always be in my heart. I am the lost member of the Meathooks. My cowbell skills are down...but I will rise again to be the best freggen cowbell player ever.
New tunes sounded great at the 8x10 Saturday night. Very polished. Either that or I was a lot less wasted than the '07 Hearnsfest. Perhaps a bit of both ring true.
Thanx for makin' the trip. Harm City loves you guys
