How many people can say they create music with their best friend. Quite a few you can imagine. But...how many of those people can say they were born on the same day in the same year, took guitar lessons from the same instructor and have remained friends since childhood days? jamesWolf. The songwriting duo of Brent Cook and Jurgen Schlote use a combination of their middle names to make up their moniker and bare enough of a resemblance to each other to be asked often if they are brothers. Looking closely at their photo, one realizes it is a combination of both their faces made to look like one. With a blend of strong melodies and thoughtful arrangements their music has been appealing to a variety of listeners as they perform in support of their latest release "evolution". Currently jamesWolf is waiting to hear if their song "Turks and Caicos" will be licenced by the Turks and Caicos government for a tourism campaign.2008 will hopefully bring the release of a full length disc as well as a concentrated effort in placing their music in T.V. and film.
Hi Brent! Good to hear from you! Things are very exciting for us right now. How are you guys? Writing lots I'm sure :) That's sweet you'll be coming down here for the BCCMA's! Are you playing a show or two while you're here?
Love the songs! "Calling All Pyromaniacs" is catchy as hell. You're a great songwriter...great melodies and hooks, and profound lyrics. Send me a reminder closer to June about your Cornerstone gig. That's a couple of blocks from my house...I've played there a few times as well.
love the songs guys...love them so much I learned most of them!! HA!!
Would love to jam with you anytime, anywhere if we can...I'll bring the Beatle bass>>>>>
PS: Your picture is freaking the shite out of everyone who sees it at the studio. They feel like they're drunk when they see the mug shot of you two, trying to focus into one dood...
looking forward to the CD release!!

Hey I went to your show in kamloops the other night and bought your c.d- I had to leave early though! I've also played at the bean scene and the minstral cafe- it should be good there for your music! In vernon, an even better place is at portillo's cafe- it's got live music alot!!! The bean scene is great, and cutre but really small. I work part-time in vernon, so if I'm working that day, I"ll come out to your show again. You guys were awesome!!
