JAMEY GARNER BIOGRAPHY:
Jamey Garner burst onto the country music scene as a Finalist on the USA Network and Sony Music's NASHVILLE STAR, where once a week he performed live on National TV to millions of American country music fans along with such stars as Miranda Lambert and Buddy Jewell.
Most recently, Jamey was chosen to be one of Kenny Chesney’s “Next Big Stars”, and Jamey opened for Kenny, Brooks and Dunn and Lee Ann Rimes in front of nearly 30,000 screaming country music fans at Pizza Hut Park in Dallas, TX!
Jamey has toured extensively and shared dates with some of country music's brightest stars, including Gary Alan, Dierks Bentley, Brooks & Dunn, Chris Cagle, Kenny Chesney, Terri Clark, Charlie Daniels, Deryl Dodd, Andy Griggs, Buddy Jewell, Tracy Lawrence, Lee Ann Rimes, Blake Shelton, Clay Walker, Trent Willmon and many, many others.
Jamey has been featured on numerous syndicated radio shows including After Midnight with Blair Garner, Danny Wright All Night, Westwood One and Billy Block's Western Beat.
Jamey can be heard playing harmonica on two trax for Trent Willmon's newest release on Texas' own Compadre Records and he was also a guest on Neil McCoy's cd "That's Life". Jamey received a Gold record for his soulful harmonica performance on Buddy Jewells No.2 hit single "Sweet Southern Comfort" in 2004, produced by Grammy winner Clint Black.
In the spring of 2004, Great American Country (G*A*C) aired a full 30-minute feature on Jamey and his music, a tremendous accomplishment for an unsigned artist. Jamey was also a special guest of Nashville legend Charlie Chase, of "Crook and Chase", on his NBC morning show and has appeared on various FOX and NBC affiliate's around the country.
Currently, Jamey is based in the great state of Texas with his new band and working on his next cd release. Jamey is sponsored by Hohner Harmonicas, Greg Bennett Guitars, Microsonic In-Ear Monitors, Dean Markley Strings and Guistar Picks.
