DALE "Marc" Work JR. 1956 - 2008 Dale "Marc" Work Jr. passed away on Friday after a long fight with cancer at the age of 52. He was a long time employee of the Lompoc School District. At the time of his death he was employed by the InDyne Company on base. He had a wonderful sense of humor and a real faith in God and His son Jesus Christ. He was a deacon in the St. Timothy's Antiochian Orthodox Church for many years. He was preceded in death by his son Matthew Peter on June 12, 1987. He leaves behind his wife, Brenda, son's David in college at Fresno state and Jonathan in Kodiak, Alaska. Daughter, Hannah of Lompoc. Mother Betty of Lompoc. Sister, Pamela of New Hampshire. Brother's Bill of Fresno, George and Greg of Lompoc. Also an aunt, Eileen Murphy of Lompoc and an uncle, George Dowden of Kokomo, Indiana. Many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was admired by the people of St. Timothy's Church and the West Coast Clergy and will be missed by all. There will be a vigil on Tuesday September 9th, 2008 at 7:00pm at St. Timothy's Antiochian Orthodox Church, 403 North J Street. The funeral will be on Wednesday, September 10th, 2008 at 10:00am, also at St. Timothy's. Memory eternal.
