My name is Jamie Carroll and yes, my hair is real! LOL I have been writing, recording and touring for over 16 years and I am completely finished with trying to be cool. I love spending time with my two kids and my new wife Jamie Lynn (yeah, we have the same first name and we think it's funny too).
I love movies and I pay attention to every word. I love and respect all types of music. There is no such thing as "outdated music". Music is timeless and should remain respected as that. I also respect all types of people and the cultures and beliefs that they come from. I am more interested than ever in history and science... so naturally my favorite movies are Science Fiction. I wonder if some of them might actually be close to the truth.
I play Gibson, Fender, Alvarez and Burchette Guitars. I love noisy sound effects and full tone. I think Cold Play's "Viva La Vida" Album could be one of the best in the world. I work a day job and am happy that I have one, however I still dream and plan every day to be able to have a music related career again.
I love to eat and should probably not eat so much. I love my family and my friends are the best in the world.
I could not have come this far without their help and support. Especially people like Gray Burchette, Keary Reid and all the other musicians who join me in the Studio and on Stage from time to time using whatever Band name we think of for that night.
There is a certain freedom when you find out that FITTING IN or BEING COOL is actually not cool at all. I am happy to share my songs with anyone who will listen.
I support and promote local music. Please check out Jerry Chapman, Doug Davis and many others on my friends list for some REAL MUSIC.
I am also a "For Hire" Lead Guitarist, Studio Player, Writer/Co-Writer and Producer. If you need any back up or some help in the studio, let me know.
I have made many mistakes in life and I try to write songs that reflect what I have learned along the way. I write journals about what's on my mind at my official website www.musicofjamiecarroll.com Most questions people have for me are found there.

It was awesome seeing you too! I'm looking forward to meeting your wife sometime. I was featured in a magazine in July, I forgot to bring you a copy last night.

We could share the stage at confluence one evening in the fall, if you'd be up for it! Anywho I just wanted to say hello and we will hopefully get a chance to come check ya out sometime!
Thank you soo much. I'm just asking for everyones prayers right now. There is so much i don't know and i feel really lost most of the time. But I guess everything will get easier as i work through it right. I know this is going to be hard work and a big change for my family, but i really feel we can do it. As long as i have the support of my children and family I think I'll be OK. Thanks for the info:)
