Bio
Jamie started playing clarinet at age 10. He's been around for a while, and has had some unique opportunities, including playing before Pierre Elliott Trudeau when he was 12 years old. He was the solo clarinetist in the International Youth Symphony (A Michigan-Ontario venture) in his teenage years. Jamie has performed and recorded with various artists in Toronto, London and in the Detroit-Windsor area, with sessions and artists ranging from some occasional work in the past with artists such as Brian Danter (formerly of Teaze) to Phil Bryant (formerly of 707 fame) and Jael. His primary love is the saxophone, and he currently plays mostly in the Windsor-Detroit area (live and studio). He performs frequently with Lorenzo "Spoons" Brown and Ian McGregor Smith. The songs posted are cuts from his CD, "Then Comes The Night." Some of these songs have been getting airplay in Europe and Australia, and are starting to get some traction in North America.
