Jamie’s Story:
Well I started out learing how to play by myself when i was 12. I then decided that i wanted to take guitar lessons from a guy in Tallahassee, Fl by the name of Missippy James, which i did so when i was close to the age of 13. By the time i turned 13 i quit taking lessons beacuse it semmed to be doin me no good at all. Missippy was agreat tracher but i gained nothing out of it. I quit taking lessons and started practicing everyday for about one whole year. I practiced for sumtimes up to 12 hours a day just playing by myself. I finally got to where i would play a littel bit and decided to go to a local blues club in my area. I went to this club and saw a man by the name of Kenny Neal who is an awesome blues musician. I asked him before the show to sign a guitar of mine and he said,"sure i’ll sign it, if you get up and play a song with us." So i got up and played one song wiht Kenny that night and from then on i decided that music was my life and i wanted to be a blues musician. I then started goin to the club more frequently seeing and tlking wiht every act tht went there. I sat in with over 100 ppl down there and was rele hooked to music. When i was 14 i decided to get a band together. When i turned 15 i recorded my first CD which debuted in April of 2006 this year at the same club i first ever got on stage and played with Kenny that night. The CD is called "Am I Too Young To Play The Blues" and was recorded by our producer/keyboard player whos name is Darius "doc d" Baker. The CD turned out GREAT all thanks to him. So now i’m just sitting and waiting for whatever is in store for me next!

Just found out they're giving us an encore. I loved working on this show- excellent musicianship, and I love watching Doc and Taurus bob their heads in the background. I was doing the same thing working on it. Will get DVDs out in the next month or so.
