Music
I adore film music. I find the structure is often very powerful and mind stimulating, bursting with so much emotion. Some of my favourite composers include: James Newtown Howard, Hans Zimmer, John Williams, Henry Mancini, John Barry, Jeff Wayne, Bernard Hermann, Harry Manfredini.
I also listen to ambient and experimental music: Tangerine Dream, Pink Floyd and Mike Oldfield. I also enjoy electronic music from artists such as Jean Michelle Jarre and Vangelis, but also a combination of electronic and accoustic instruments I find very soulful and mind stimulating. I am also very much in tune with bands such as: Air, Moby, Royksopp, Jamiroquai, Goldfrapp, Massive Attack, Daft Punk, Kraftwerk and some of those wonderfully uplifting songs from the 70's & 80's genre from artists such as Kate Bush, Jeff Lynne and Nile Rodgers. If the content contains a soulful element to evoke a heartfelt moment of musical rapture in a profound way, then I am instantly drawn.
Alien, Jaws, The Road Warrior, LOTR, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Empire Strikes Back (prefer the original versions), Bladerunner, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, Forbidden Planet, The Day the Earth Stood Still, First Men in the Moon, The Time Machine, Time After Time, Time Bandits, Logan's Run, Star Trek Movies (especially 2, 3 and 4), 2001: Space Odyssey, THX1138, Saturn 3, Westworld, War of the Worlds (classic and new) The Fog, Halloween, Evil Dead Trilogy, The Warriors, Signs, Fire in the Sky, Salem's Lot (original), It, Universal Monster Classics, Thrillers, James Bond, Hitchcock films. Anything with a deep sense of atmosphere, is intriguing and inspirational and has a great music score.

Heroes
Poets, artists, musicians, visionaries, creative and gentle souls that contain empathy and compassion. To those who feel from the heart, I stand strong in the light of our unity.
About me:
I have a huge passion for audio/visual creativity. To feel a positive emotion from a combination of these two elements I find soulfully blissful and nurturing for the heart and mind. I Really enjoy filmmaking, editing, composing music via synthesizers, creative writing, poetry, profound thinking, working with models and props. I am quite a sensitive person and was born middle aged, perhaps a typical Capricorn. I Love to travel and visit new and inspiring places. I have also been known to occasionally kick back and have a laugh. Fellow Capricorns know exactly what I mean ;-)
Who I'd like to meet:
Anyone who loves to be creative or experience creativity and as a result can feel the hairs on the back of their neck stand up! People who can transport their minds and see a vision of a beautiful sunset, orange tinted clouds, sparkling reflections in the water and can hear their favourite soulful music, feel chord changes and harmonies, filling each moment with complete tranquility and inspiration. Poetic people who are gentle, kind, understanding and have a passion in life to be creative and inspiring to others :-)
It is not the end... it is not the beginning of the end... it is the end of the beginning...
"We're sending out, a major love
And this is our, message to you...
The planets are linin' up
We're bringin' brighter days
They're all in line
Waitin' for you..."
One more quick question/comment for the day ;)...when eating mashed potatoes..do you ever sculpt them into anything and look up and say in a straight face "This means something"? *grin* Kudos on Project Rendevous!
You may just be right about it but I will have to read that chapter in my synth book. All I know is that Jan Hammer still owns the prototype and had his own brand made back in the late 70's. It started when he wanted to compete against guitarist that he bought a keyboard controller and and placed a guitar strap and connected it to the Minimoog it was really heavy unfortunatelly.
Jamie- I hope you have a nice day, and an awesome weekend... I am hoping to make it to see the new Star Trek movie.. "to Boldly go where no man has every gone before"... :-) sondra
