.. James Fields aka Jamie Foe was born July 25, 1983 in Harvey IL, Raised on the South Side of Chicago in rough surroundings where guns and drugs were an every day thing. One fateful day, Fields ran into an old family member that he had not talked to in years which would set his music career in motion. Fields’ cousin was a rap artist and they quickly got together on some music. They began working out of a friend’s basement and recorded some tracks. A few others were thrown into the mix and they started a group called 57 South Clique and went on to start a record label called 57 South Entertainment. Jamie Foe quickly began to get the word out on his home recordings and through word of mouth and the internet, he has caught the attention of many people with his style. Currently, Jamie Foe is working on new material and recording his second album entitled “Introducing Myself, Jamie Foe”.
