  • General

    I like doing just about anything. On weekends I dont really make plans. Most of the time I just wake up and say I feel like doing this today.And we do it. We love to just drive around and see the sites. Driving into Downtown Denver is always cool. Just going in through the streets between the buildings. My kids and I are very much alike as far as things we like to do. They are fun to be around with. We are very close and love to laugh and explore. I like biking , backpacking, tubing, basketball, baseball, football, swimming going on picnics and going to the casinos where I like to daydream of winning lots of money. When Im at home I like to talk to all my friends around the country on my computer. My favorite websites are Youtube , My Space and a few other ones I shouldnt mention. I love taking pictures of just about anything.I like to post them on MySpace to show all my friends on the things we see and do when we go on these adventures and outings. I always try to have my camera with me everywhere I go.Its a great for my friends and family can see what were up to. And see my girls getting older and more mature. I have a passion for Racquetball. This game really kicks your ass just by playing it. I would say it is one of the fastest moving sports out there. It takes great concentration and skill. It is so much fun and challenging. I used to play just about everyday when I lived in Texas. I still play just not as much. Bowling is something we do everynow and then. My thing when I bowl is to try to make the pins break as loudly as possible. But I usually end up hurting my arm. But its fun trying. I have gone fishing a few times and it was alright, not to exciting but if the location is nice and shady then it is very relaxing it also helps if you have good conversation to pass the time. That is the best feeling in the world. I love to watch the weather especially rain and lightening .I love the rain. Sometimes I hop in the car and go for a drive just to watch the windshield wipers go back and forth. It takes me back to distant memories good ones. In Colorado it SNOWS! And it is very cool when the snow really comes down. lots and lots of snow. I have been here for some of the biggest blizzards and it was really fun as a kid but not so as an adult.The Denver Broncos are my favorite team. They havent been great lately but it will happen again. I spend alot of time cleaning my house. I cant sleep unless everthing is in order and put away. So I try to keep it all as organized as I possibly can. Another one of my weird habits is listening to talk radio. I am addicted to listening to these idiots in the morning. But after 12pm I always put the station to 93.3 and I like to listen to Bailey in the afternoon. For some reason it is hard to work listening to the same 10 songs over and over everyday. Talk radio is different everyday. And I like to hear what all the talk show personalities have to bitch about from day to day. I always find myself talking or shouting back at the radio when listening to some of these assholes on the radio. Some of the people that call in are so ridiculous. One guy that I would like to meet in a dark alley! Just to kick his ass, is Terry Anderson. Wow talk about a Racist.     My favorite groups are The Cure , Placebo, Depeche Mode, New Order, 30 Seconds To Mars, Black Audio, Joy Division, Morrissey, AFI, Breaking Benjamin, Cobra Starship, Trail of Dead, Paramore, Black Liquid, The Smiths, Nitzer Ebb, Front 242, Electronica(EUHPORIC TRANCE) is my weapon of choice. My favorites are Oceanlab, Jes, Tiesto, ATB, BT, Ferry Corsten, Blank and Jones, IIO, Robbie Rivera, Fragma, Bellatrax, Paul Van Dyk, Paul Okenfold.Then I cant leave out Electro and the old school latin freestyle. Arabian Prince , Egyptian Lover, Cybotron, Mantronix, and cant forget my boy SLICK RICK. People that first meet me would never imagine that I am a huge fan of these bands Janes Addiction, Sisters of Mercy, The Ramones, The Cure, Placebo 30 Seconds to Mars, Saosin, Chiodos, Atreyu, Live Music is something I enjoy , so when their are concerts of any of these bands coming up I try to go as often as I can. The best live band in the world has got to be the CURE. They are AMAZING. And Placebo they are awesome. I went to see 30 Seconds to Mars at the taste of chaos last year and I lost my hearing for a week it was a great concert. But it was way to loud. I love music back in high school a friend and I had a mobile DJ setup and we would do parties and weddings and all kinds of bashes. I can honestly say that was the funnest part of my life.(MAYBE). I have two brothers that do it, still spin wax. One of them actually filled in as a DJ for( A Lighter Shade Of Brown ) Does anyone remember that group from the old School? Anyway both of my brother Anthony and Ray are very good with the wax. They have been doin it for a long time. But they are into the house music thing. I am more into the trance mixing stuff myself.

  • Movies

    I watch alot of action adventure ,sci-fi, Thrillers and comedys. And dont forget that crazy stuff. I order movies from Netflix I try to watch movies every night but I have been so busy at work it is hard to sit and watch a movie lately.But if it is good I will stay up late . Some of my favorite movies are Missisipi Burnings,The Wraith,The Blade movies, Transformers, The Shawshank Redemption, Once Upon A Time In Mexico, Underworld,Any Whichway You Can with Clint Eastwood. Zorro(with Alain Delon).The Forbidden Kingdom,The Lord Of The Rings(all of them). The Star Wars Movies.Blood In Blood Out, American Me, The Invisible. Swat,Go, Harold And Kumar (Both movies) Halfbaked,Next,Zoolander,Mystery Men,American Graffiti. I also love The Canonball Run movie. Smokey And The Bandit with Burt Reynolds. But only the first one the other two sucked. The Rocky movies are all good,But my favorite was Rocky 2.All the Rambo movies I just saw the last one and it was one of the best movies I have ever watched. Close Encounters of the Third Kind. Amityville Horror (original) And last but not least my very favorite of all is SEVEN.

    For television my choices are The Shield,Paranormal State,Ghost Hunters,Hells Kitchen,Fox31News, Law and Order Special Victims Unit. That crazy loudmouth Chef Gordon Ramsey is one of the most fun people to watch. He gets me laughing so hard sometimes . The things that come out of his mouth sometimes. Now that is one brave son of a bitch. Oh before I forget Kitchen Nightmares! This show is so good.

  • Books

    Dont really read to many books now that Im not in school. But I find auto-biographies cool to read. I cant remember the last book I ever read. But I do go to BORDERS all the time. I like to look at all the books that are on sale. You know the books that were like 50 dollars last month and they are 5 dollars this week. But seriously I would love to write an auto-biography of the trials and tribulations of Ricky. Something that I do read alot of,is the newspaper. Its always different never the same. Not really entertaining but informative.

  • Heroes

    My hero is my Grandfather Reymundo. He was and still is in my heart and in my thoughts. I miss him alot. I would say he is my someone, that I truly love and respect. He was a teacher,friend,mentor,counselor and my Grandfather.Even now that he is gone. He is still around many ways. You probably wouldnt believe me if I told you. But he is still with me in many, many ways. We still speak to one another every now and then. Just in a different way, that most people would find difficult to understand.

About me:

I am here on my space to find future friends.And with a little luck ,I would also like to reconnect with old friends from the past that I lost touch with over the years. I had so many friends all over from my school and college. That I just slipped out of a huge circle of friends without notice. I miss you all so much. And I hope that this will bring us back together in at least a small way. I think about people that I have crossed paths with through out my lifetime and it breaks my heart to not have said goodbye in a proper way! I am single father now and I want to meet people to go out with and have fun with. I have not dated to often in the past or even now. I want to find my soulmate. They say there is always two in this world and I want to find one! It has been such a long journey to this point in my life. Alot has changed and alot has not. I am still the same old Ricky only more mature and wiser! Things are good right now and I pray that they stay this way. I never thought I would ever end up single and with kids. But things always happen for a reason they say!I have my girls full time and they are a little more independent. Meaning I dont have to worry about and hire babysitters to watch the girls like in the old days when I go out and try have a good time.They are teens so I can feel safe and not worry about the house getting blown up. So thats a big plus for anyone that would find me interesting enough to meet me. I am a very funny person who loves to laugh and make others laugh too. People that know me very well would say that I AM a comedian. I have a sick and sarcastic sense of humor that comes out after a while. So that makes some people say( oh shit what did I do to get this guy upset or ticked off) LOL . So do not take it to seriously or personal. I am very friendly, and a very polite person. I am very down to earth and humble. Which makes me very easy to get along with. I would like to meet someone very much who is willing to give me a chance at a trusting and honest relationship that is equal right from the start. Someone that compliments me intellectually. We can both strive for a bigger and better life together. Someone with goals and wanting more out of life.We could both compliment one another on our achievements and look after one another physically and mentally and emotionally. I believe that good communication is one of the strongest foundations in a good and long lasting relationship. I am not the most religious person , But I do believe that there is a God. Work is something, I tend to take to seriously sometimes. I am their to much from time to time. I love to laugh and meet cool people. I believe that having friends is essential to good health and happiness.I can be critical and harsh at times. So most of the time take that with a grain of salt. I think that is just because I am a Virgo. It actually takes alot to get me upset I am a very laid back and very mellow person. But, I can get excited very quickly. I am very kind and I have a big heart. But I have the gift of being able to see through people when they are dishonest and fake. Sometimes I tend to take things to seriously and I might worry more then I should but thats because I can care a little to much. I may be really shy at first and kind of quiet. But once the ice is broken watch out. And then when you get to know me, you'll love me. I have friends who have said that I am very charming and charismatic! But that is human nature isnt it? Treat people how you would like to be treated. But I have never met anyone that didnt like me for who I am. Well maybe once or twice but very rarely. Just be yourself, dont try to be something your not because then it will come back and bite you in the ass. I love having long conversations and listening to people talk. I find that very stimulating and inspiring sometimes. I have seen so many people on myspace that seem so fake and pretend to be something they are not. But to each his own right. I am into all kinds of music. I dont just like one genre of music. I like just about everything, If it sounds good and if it can stimulate or move you.
