プロデューサー/コンポーザー/アレンジャー/キーボード/ギター
作曲を二橋潤一氏,ピアノを高瀬アキ氏,ギターを北垣雅則氏に師事。
その後、演奏家として数多くの歌手のバックバンド--ツアー、レコーディング、アレンジを務める。
1986年に単身渡米しロスのDICK GROVE SCHOOL OF MUSICに入学。
モダンジャズ--アレンジを修士した後、演奏家、セッションマンとして活動。Naoki Yanai(Bass),Toshi Yanagi(Guiter)とバンドを結成し日本の歌手のコンサートやトニーデューマス、ラルフ マクドナルド、ラリーワシントン、etc など有名演奏家とも共演。
後アメリカ永住権を取得し本格的にプロダクションワークをスタートさせアメリカのトップアーティスとからローカルアーティストまで,
プロデューサー、アレンジャー、エンジニア、プレイヤーとして幅広く活躍。

また自身もReadyMIX というアーバンR&Bのユニットを組んでライブ&レコーディングと活躍している

Jamie Nakamura is a Japanese music producer, composer, arranger, keyboardist, and guitarist. He studied music composition and theory with Mr. Jyunichi Nihashi, piano with Ms. Aki Takase, and guitar with Mr. Masanori Kitagaki. In 1982, Jamie started his career as a music player, recording producer, and arranger for many great musicians in Tokyo. In 1986, he moved to Los Angels, California and entered DICK GROVE SCHOOL OF MUSIC. After studying modern jazz and arrange, he started performing as a musician and session player. Then, he formed a band with Naoki Yanai(Bass) and Toshi Yanagi(Guiter), which performed as a back-up band for many Japanese singers. Jamie’s also performed with some famous artists include Tony Dumas, Ralph MacDonald, Larry Washington, etc. Since Jamie acquired a green card, he had done a lot of production works as a producer, arranger, recording engineer, and player for various artists from top artists to local artists include Nick Carter from Backstreet Boys, WC from Westside Connection, Lady J, Japanese jazz singer Yasuko Agawa, Japanese singer AI, Suirei, Asako Iwaki, etc. Since Jamie moved back to Japan in 2002, he has been working not only as a composer and producer, but as a Guitar player in his band name is READYMIX with Honami(Vo). READYMIX has been working on their self-produce Urban R&B album .& Live show.
