BEGIN BIOGRAPHY Jamie Nattier is a singer and songwriter from a small town in south central Illinois east of St. Louis, Missouri. Singing and writing songs are a huge part of Jamie's life. From early days in grade school to singing in the college choir, music has always been and will continue to be a passion of his.

He was raised on the family farm in Patoka, Illinois (pop. 650), surrounded by horses, cows, grain, and oil fields. The son of a farmer and a teacher, Jamie has developed a strong sense of work ethic as well as high academic values. Jamie attended school in the same building for 13 years. He graduated from High School in 2008 as the salutatorian of his class of twenty students. Jamie is a true country boy; he’s never gone too far from the farm.

Music has always been part of Jamie's life. In preschool he was the center of attention at the Christmas program. Jamie started playing piano in kindergarten and sang in every Christmas program and talent show. When Jamie was 12 he got his first guitar. It didn't take him too long to start performing in front of an audience. At 14, Jamie started playing at 4-H and church events. Shortly after that he started going to local opry shows and performing. Before long, bands we inviting him to play along with them. He has played with three local bands on and off at different events in the area. In 2005 he made his first radio appearance. He has appeared on numerous radio stations around his hometown.

In 2006 at the age of 16 Jamie started writing songs. He became a member of the Nashville Songwriter's Association International. He started recording his songs on his home computer. Several radio stations in the area played Jamie’s original songs. One station recommended that he go to Nashville and have a cd made for radio play. In 2007 Jamie went to Nashville and recorded a 10 song cd. It was a great experience. He started attending workshops in Nashville and having songs evaluated. Jamie received some pretty good evaluations which led him to start making trips to Nashville on a regular basis. He enjoys spending time in Nashville, playing at Writers, and co-writing with some great writers. Some writers he has been fortunate to work with in Nashville are Al DeTrolio, CJ Watson, RC Bannon, Barbara Cloyd, Marc Alan Barnett, Scott Sanford, Kurt Fortmeyer and Denny Martin. Some places Jamie has played in Nashville are The Commodore, Sunday Night Writer's night at the Bluebird Café, Ri’chards, Tootsies, The Nashville Palace, and The Limelight. Jamie is currently attending a small, local, community college in Illinois on a music scholarship. He continues to make trips to Nashville to co-write, take voice lessons and perform. He hopes to have a future as a songwriter and possibly work toward an artist deal. END BIOGRAPHY

I'm 19.

I live in the middle of an oilfield.

I am OCD with the number 3.

I write most of my songs while I'm working on the farm drivin' a tractor or a combine. I haven't wrecked yet...

I hope to meet Chelsea & Chuy someday.

I refuse to buy my T-shirts from anywhere that's not Walmart or Dollar General.

I type with one hand (my right).

My goal in life is to be a role model and encourage kids to get involved in music or just get involved in anything. Do something!

I gotta dog named Fishy, long story.

I used to have a gap in my front teeth before I got it filled.

I have been singing at senior citizen dances since I was 15, which I love. Classic Country is "one" of my favorite genres of music and I get to sing it all the time at the dances.

If I ever got the opportunity to be on the MTV show Made, I'd want to be made into a hip hop dancer.

Yes, I am human and have zits along with photo shopped pics.

My birthday is January 15.

My dad is my best friend.

Writing in the "RANDOM" section is therapeutic for me. I use the "RANDOM" section to let people know a little more about myself, but I think I end up learning more about myself than the people reading it do.

Several people have told me that I look like Zac Efron, but I really don’t see the resemblance. Do I?

A lot of recent and current girlfriends inspire my songs.

I've been riding horses since I was 3.

I'm addicted to watching low budget zombie movies on the Chiller Network. Is that weird?

I'm a very spontaneous person which makes it difficult for me to stay in any type of routine.

The 1 characteristic that I look for in a friend is honesty. So don't be afraid to tell me straight up how you feel. I can handle it.

My favorite food is taco chili, and the spell check just made me realize that "chili" only has one "L". Wow?

Someday I want to start my own band and I come up with at least 20 band names a day.

My pet peeve is the beeping sound that some vehicles make when the key's left in and the doors open. It drives me insane! I usually pull the key out before I open the door.

Music has saved me throughout my life and in return I want to save others with my music.

I'm so thankful for all the awesome people I have met on Myspace and I hope to meet many more.
