Originally from Tennessee, Jamie began music lessons at the age of 5 studying suzuki violin. He switched to bass at 12 in his middle school orchestra program. Bass was clearly the coolest of the stringed instruments, and remains so to this day! .. .. Jamie has performed with many artists including: Ira Sullivan, Duffy Jackson, Dave Liebman, John Fedchock, Maria Schneider, Vince Mendoza, Jim McNeeley, George Sheering, Nestor Torres, James Moody, Bucky and John Pizzarelli, Carmen Lundy, Harry Allen, Bob Berg, Greg Abate, Eddie Higgins, Vic Damone, Annie Sellick, Arturo Sandoval, and Les DeMerle. .. .. Jamie has had the pleasure of performing for many celebrities, dignitaries, and heads of state including: President Bill Clinton, Governor Jeb Bush, Prince Albert of Monaco, King Kigeli V of Rwanda, Prince Ermias Sahle Selassie of Ethiopia, Janet Jackson, Queen of wardrobe mishaps, Shirley MacLaine, Gloria Estefan, one of the backstreet boys, the Dalai Lama, and Heidi Klum, a personal favorite. .. ..
