You are The Star
Hope, expectation, Bright promises.
The Star is one of the great cards of faith, dreams realised
The Star is a card that looks to the future. It does not predict any immediate or powerful change, but it does predict hope and healing. This card suggests clarity of vision, spiritual insight. And, most importantly, that unexpected help will be coming, with water to quench your thirst, with a guiding light to the future. They might say you're a dreamer, but you're not the only one.

----Jamie has an almighty voice and an almighty force that channels through her when she sings. Just so you know. You're not just listening to Jamie Reeves. You're listening to the Soul of the World. And I say, "Amen.

-----Delphi (singer/songwriter/friend)
Jamie Reeves is a folk singer/songwriter from the Dallas area. She began singing classic country and writing poetry at a very young age, as well as playing flute in the sixth grade. The Reeves family has always had music running through their veins. Her big brothers Josh and Jake Reeves also started making music at young ages and they both influenced and encouraged her, as well as each other to play guitar and write.
When Jamie was 15 her Dad bought her a guitar for Christmas. It wasn't very long that Jamie picked it up and began weaving her poetry, music, and voice together. She wrote two songs, "Beautiful things" and "Look to the Sky" which were both produced and recorded by Josh Reeves.
During Jamie's high school career she became very fascinated with alternative subjects. After being put on the ADHD drug Adderall, she wrote an article in her journalism class that talked about the health dangers of the medication, and proved that the U.S Government was paying public school systems to put students on MSRI's. Jamie was kicked out of her Journalism class, but the article was later posted in the local newspaper.
Right before her graduation in 2005, her brother Josh Reeves introduced her to the film, "The Illuminati" and flipped her paradigm forever. Together they began researching ancient civilizations, the occult, secret societies, government conspiracies, 911, JFK,anti war activism, and chemtrails. She took part in the making of Josh's first film, "911: New World Rising" and also helped with the starting up of "The Global Reality".
After a long break from music, Jamie was thirsty for creativity. In May of 2008 she met a local artist named Delphi through "The Global Reality Show" and was very moved by her song, 33rd Degree. Delphi introduced her to local soul singer, Deb Driscroll and The Shanty Town collective, as well as local live art group, "Art Love Magic." Her first Art Love Magic show was, "girlShow2008" and it reminded her that music was the path she was going to stay on. She joined local female musicians, painters, jewlers, and spoken word poets all live at once.
"Disbelief in magic can force a poor soul into believing in government and business."
-Tom Robbins-
You can now catch Jamie playing a new song at the Shanty, playing local shows in Dallas (she needs more!) and playing at ArtLoveMagic live shows. She played girlShow2009 with "The Reeves family of Light" with Josh Reeves on drums, Jake Reeves joined on harmonica.

I'm serving you coffee
I'm serving you information
All you have to do is listen
About poverty and inflation
They want your life not just material bullshit
The want your time not just the clock on the wall
Seperate yourself from all the greedy dieties and breathe in the taste of natures pure alcohol.
I'm channeling color
I'm channeling codes and visions
All you have to do is position
For creativity in sake of your own sanity
The connection infection is traveling fast so break open your head and get a tight grap of creating and mating with holographic time. This civilization keeps crumbeling its all by design.
This explosion of waves has got my mind in a haze and I feel HIGH
This slave system of lives has taken over your life and you feel LOW
You're all by yourself, you're in your civilized shell
You're big but you think you're small
You're big but you think you're small
I'm in masonic heritage the stones are aligned the moon is divine
I can feel it all around me
These architects of control have finally taken their toll
Their debating and fading with holographic earth
They've all lost their minds and the golds lost its worth
I know you keep thinking, "what is the time?"
But I'm telling you darling, there is not time!
This explosion of waves has got my mind in a haze and I feel HIGH
This slave system of lives has taken over your life and you feel LOW
You're all by yourself, you're in your civilized shell
You're big but you think you're small
You're big but you think you're small

From their upcoming album, The Floor’s Made of Lava, “One Snowman to Texas” sways through one snowman’s heartrending journey to be with his dear snowwoman. In Colorado, she fell in the Rio Grande and was swept south to the Gulf. Now our hero, holding his molecules together with sheer will, is off to Texas just to succumb where his dear snowwoman now resides.
Parallel Play’s harmony enriched single captures a level of love that takes “One Snowman to Texas” beyond just a song, but that of a Texas legend.
Jamie, Sun In Your Sky is another excellent song. Your writing is very strong and again, I love the big sound you achieve.
If I may offer an idea...I felt that if you 'freed up the drums' on that song, so that it mirrored the emotion and dynamics of your voice/guitar it would take it to another level. Just came to mind when I heard it a second time.
Culture's Chains is also a winner. I'm certain that British audiences would connect with your music, as well as back in your part of the world.
