Influences
I am very fortunate in that I know some of my biggest influences as a musician, but as a piano player: John Taylor, Les Chisnall, Steve Brown, John Ellis, Richard Weatherall, Nikki Iles, Gwilym Simcock, Jem Sasssoon, Herbie Hancock, Keith Jarrett, Esbjorn Svensson, Bobo Stenson, Russel Ferante, Joey Defrancesco, Jimmy Smith, Wynton Kelly, Bill Evans, Joe Zawinul, Ahmad Jahmal and many more.....
I am a Keys and Piano player / producer / songwriter and have lived all of my life in South Manchester. I play regularly around the North West and occasionally further afield with man y different groups and musicians. Most weeks you can catch me at the Cinnamon Club with a duet, trio, quartet or solo. I try to play with as many different people as possible and usually have a few gigs here and there.
I have played at Matt and Phreds, The Cinnamon Club, Alexander's Jazz Club, Cheltenham Jazz Fringe Festival, Aberdeen Youth Festival and many more...
