Jamie Slocum has written and performed many top ten hits for CCM radio and Gospel radio including producing several Country and Pop recording artist. He also continues to tour the United States as well as other Countries with his high energy worship music. Jamie's latest song and video " Dependence" was number 1 for 11 weeks at radio. And has been nominated for Inspirational song of the year at this years 2009 Dove awards. His new CD " Dependence" will arrive in stores April 21 2009.
" Say hello to heaven " was also Nominated for country song of the year at the 2007 Dove awards. Fragile is another new song that will be included on the " Dependence" CD and will probably be the next single to radio.

We have had so many compliments about you and folks asking for more information about your music. We have been trying for the past 5 years to come up with a fitting way to wrap up our event and always came up empty. Since the survival rate for women diagnosed with this disease is ony 25% at 5 years from diagnosis (the majority of women are diagnosed at late stages) we knew we wanted something uplifting and inspirational. GOD led you to us! Your music was perfect. We so appreciate what you do to share the word of GOD. I myself am going thru the end of a 20 year marriage, and your music is an inspiration to me. Hi Jamie, How are you? I'm so bummed, I missed your concert last night here in Lake Havasu City.....I heard about it just a few hours to late. It's been quite awhile since I've been to MySpace. We moved last year from California, and it took us almost forever to get all of our things here. We love the great weather, and the beautiful River. Were you able to be here for London Bridge Days? We were at Jamie Slocum’s Rockford concert. It was GREAT!!! We really enjoyed it. My husband and I took our two teenage sons. The oldest son is a junior in college and he commented on how he really enjoyed Jamie’s concert and how he has such a neat personality. I hope he keeps that personality. It was so refreshing to find a performer with the right priority in life………God! It was especially neat to have our sons (one 20 years old and the other 17 years) comment on how much they enjoyed his concert. Such a beautiful voice and songs with lyrics that are so applicable to life. He put on such an enjoyable concert. I have played his CD numerous times since we attended the concert. I am originally from Rockford so we paired the concert with a trip home to visit family.
You asked where I heard his music. All the credit goes to my husband. He listens to WMBI radio in Chicago and WGSL in Loves Park/Rockford. He suggested that we attend the concert and felt we would enjoy it. The three of us weren’t familiar with Jamie but my husband enjoyed his music and now so do the rest of us!!!
He performed with Jill Miller. It was an enjoyable night. We were wondering if and when he may be coming to Wisconsin (South Bend isn’t too far but we were hoping for a Wisconsin city instead!!!) We’d love to attend another one of his concerts. He’s got 4 fans in our family. I know both of our sons will want to attend, too.J
Do you know if he has other CD’s out? We purchased one the night of the concert. Would like to know if he has other CD’s and where they can be purchased. Did I read that he and/or he and Jill may be working on some new songs? Are they available yet? Any idea when they are slated to be released? We would love to know when he has more available.

AWESOME, INCREDIBLE, a WONDERFUL time at Burlingame Federated . Jim, Jamie was awesome. We had over 400 in o ur sanctuary to hear him. They ranged from well over 80 to babies and everyone enjoyed Jamie. I hope Jamie was pleased with it and CD sales. A lot of people bought both of the ones that he brought. He arrived at our church around 3:30 so he had lots of time for a sound check and to relax before the concerts started. He stayed and talked till everyone had left and he got away around 8:45 to head back to KC. Let me know how he enjoyed the evening please? He is so very talented and a wonderful Christian man. He asked if he could come back so maybe in a year or so we can try to connect with him again if he has another Midwest swing for his concerts. Jim thanks for working with our small church finances to get Jamie to Burlingame . We all wish him great success and hope he has pleasant memories of Kansas . He certainly was a hit for us.
