Jamie Walters is probably best known from the short-lived TV show, The Heights, as the lead singer of the fictional band with the same name. The Heights had a number 1 Billboard smash hit “How Do You Talk To An Angel,” in 1992.
He also appeared in the 5th season of Beverly Hills 90210 as Ray Pruit.
He later released two full-length albums under the Atlantic Records label, Jamie Walters (1994), which had a number 4 Billboard hit, “Hold On” and Ride (1997). Most recently, Jamie released his third solo album, Believed, on Indie label Leisure Records.
Since 2004, Jamie has been a dual function firefighter/paramedic for the Los Angeles City Fire Department. With his spare time, he enjoys hanging out with his wife, Patty, their three daughters and his son at their Los Angeles home.
Although Jamie has been focusing on his family life and his career with the fire department, he has begun recording a new album and will be starring in Vh1's Confessions of a Teen Idol alongside 6 other former 'teen idols' from the '80s and '90s.
