Jamie Williams is a singer/songwriter based in the county of Essex, England.

He has been singing in bands since 1993, including 4 years with heavy rockers The Blast and 5 years with soul/blues band The Harvey Williams Band; writing many of the bands songs. Jamie was also a founder member of original acoustic band 'Cavacious' & funk band 'Rebel Souls'.

Jamie's latest project is recording his new solo album featuring a whole bunch of friends which is due for release eary in 2010.

When he's not busy gigging Jamie also hosts the monthly 'Acoustic Soul Club' at the legendary St Anne's Castle, showcasing the talents of many local & national artists. See www.myspace.com/acousticsoulclub

He is also part of 'The Jamie Williams Band' playing a funky up-tempo fusion of blues, rock and soul (see www.myspace.com/jamiewilliamsband and www.jamiewilliamsband.co.uk) They perform regularly on the pub/club circuit throughout the eastern counties and can also be seen at festivals.

Jamie is an incredibly prolific & talented songwriter with a catalogue of over 1,000 songs to his credit, some of which have been performed & recorded by The Blast, The Harvey Williams Band, Cavacious and the Jamie Williams Band while others he performs as part of his acoustic solo set. His debut solo album 'This Is Me' was recorded in 2004 & has been well received .
