Jamisun is a Charleston area guitarist/singer/songwriter that has played in several bands and traveled extensively (from Alaska to Key West) using music as his vehicle. He plays numerous gigs weekly around the lowcountry by himself, as a duo, with his trio "The Jamisun Group" and with his original band "HOLIC"". His reputation as a diverse musician is growing and he is starting to make a mark in the local music community. His styles range from John Mayer to Pantera and then some. His ability to captivate a crowd with his guitar playing alone should be indicative to what's to come.

I am sooo damn proud of my friends. This town is so full-to-the-brim with wonderful people---and certainly no shortage of talent!! That’s why it is so amazing for me, such a BLESSING, to be included & have the ability to write/share about so many of the memorable moments in music and friendship that this town brings to life!!!!
Last summer, JamiSun was the VERY FIRST musician to step forward to volunteer his talents for my wyldFEST benefit concert series. We didn’t know each other then—He just wanted to help. That’s just the kind of guy he is. TODAY I am celebrating with my friend Robin Lobosco, our wyldFEST benefactor and SUCCESSFUL kidney recipient. She lived, kicked the shit out of that terrible nightmare and while not every day is a “perfect” one, she’s a vibrant beautiful woman—ALIVE--and it is all thanks to yall.
Today I am also celebrating something else. Last night, JamiSun became the winner of the Acoustic Guitar Wars at Wild Wing. Talk about warriors--what a throw-down it was!!!! The room was filled with some extremely creative performing songwriters and musicians and all the people who love them showing their support. I am talking, that joint was jam-packed ‘n jumpin with excitement and energy!!!! I am sure there are quite a few hoarse audience members today, as the rockin’ mob broke out in an almost constant chant of “Jam-Is-Un, Jam-Is-Un”!!!!!
TONIGHT IS THE BIG NIGHT @ HALLIGANS W/ DaN InSaEnZ on vocals AND "FOUL WEATHER FOE OPENING THIS KICK ASS NIGHT OFF!!!! Show starts @ 9:30 & it's ALL AGES and FREE!!
