DJ Reg started buying his first records of House and Black music back in 1995. While working in a store for urban sport- and street wear during his high school education, he fell in love with black music. Being an artist of the Graffiti crew KROne since 1994, he then became more exposed and present in and to the Hip Hop culture scene. He enjoyed spinning and working on scratches as well as technical improvements, and then soon started to rock his first jams and parties officially as DJ REG in 1996/1997.
In 1998 he became official Live-DJ for the dance crew called B.I.M. (body in motion) and traveled with them on tour throughout Germany.
In 1999 he started his first resident DJ job at a new club the "Red Room", in his hometown. The club charted through the roof and became one of the best known clubs in Stuttgart/South Germany (PRINZ Magazine Awards 2000).
After more media exposure due to the clubs range of advertisement and success, he then founded the DJ formation "Jamix Crew" with his former DJ colleague DJ Crossword. Even though DJ Crossword had to officially leave “Jamix Crew” in 2000, DJ REG took over all bookings from Munich to Hamburg and continued keeping the volume up and the dance floors crowded.
2001 was the most important year for DJ Reg. Lotus Club in New York Manhattan invited him to spin some records in September 2001. Though after the attack on 9/11, that invitation of course was cancelled and he had to stay in Germany with the ticket in his hands. But with such publicity, he was chosen as one of the top 5 DJs in Stuttgart/South Germany and earned multiple awards by the well known Sub-Culture Magazine Stuttgart. His most appreciated award then was the “Fans Choice - Favorite“, which underlined the quality of his work as a DJ. End of 2001 he decided to bring the Jamix Crew back to life and forced formation with DJ "MoPhonk".
With more success and an ever growing fan base, today’s *Jamix Crew* Members include: Black Music: DJ Reg, DJ MoPhonk, DJ Low Life and DJ Steve Money; House Music: DJ Harold Brisco; MCs: MoPhonk and Artists: Reg and LH-One.
In 2002 DJ Reg established a well known name for himself in South Germany and under his fellow DJ Colleagues. Reg preformed his first mix-session on air at Cosmium Beats - BIG FM/Stuttgart, with whom then he traveled and preformed throughout Germany.
In 2008 DJ Reg is known as one of the best Hip Hop and RnB DJ in Germany. His style is unique: clean cut mixing with including major technical influence. He is down with scratches, backspins, doubles and juggles and maintains to hold control of any party crowd and keeps the dance floors packed. "The Party-Rocket" (Sub-Culture) named his style flexible and unique and more called him well known for his great selection of different sounds and beats. Primary RnB and Hip Hop, Soul, Old School, Miami Bass, Reggae and Dancehall as well as Disco Sounds from 70ies to the early 90ies, House and modern Mash-Up-Sounds. Yes he can cover them all!!! With his pulse for music he keeps any crowd movin till they sweat….
