Jam Jah Sound started as a regular Monday night pub ting at the Bull's Head, Moseley, Birmingham in 2001. From then to now it has built up, incorporating into the Friendly Fire Family and performing as a live act.
Alongside a tight selection of roots and dancehall vinyl, we have live percussion and live singers (from the friendly fire crew), keeping an authentic yet cutting edge reggae spirit which will satisfy the old time reggae enthusiasts as well as the newcomers.
We have been the opening act of Shambala Festival's Main Stage for the past 3 years, have performed alongside Daddy Freddy, Horace Andy, Overproof Soundsystem, King Earthquake, Aba Shanti, DJ Derek, Dub Dadda, Jibbering Records, YT, Makating, Winston "sugarcane" Fergus to name just a few...
