| About The Windjammer |
The world famous Windjammer is more than Charleston’s only oceanside live music venue, it’s a Charleston icon. Established in 1972 by brothers Malcolm and James Burgis, The Windjammer has long stood as Charleston’s number one beachfront destination for live music, cold drinks, volleyball and the legendary Bud Bikini Bash. Over the years many great artists have taken the Windjammer stage, including John Mayer, Hootie and the Blowfish, The Fray, Cracker, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Will Hoge, Better Than Ezra, Edwin McCain and Drivin N’ Cryin.
