This project is a collaboration of musicians and non-musicians alike bringing our resources together to help our Jamaican friends. Our goal is to help out one person at a time.
This year's travelers include: Craig Baumann and RJ Peterson of Fat Maw Rooney. Ryan Ogburn of Stealin' Strings. Jordan Kroger. Mike Brumm. Danny Miller. Ethan Noordyk of Clovis Mann.
Jamming for Jamaica was established in the fall of 2006 in order to raise money for less privileged citizens of Porus, Jamaica. Proceeds are directed towards building supplies and music education. Any contributions can make someone's day just a little better. In January, 2008 we will make the trip to work side by side with our Central Jamaican friends. Thanks for your support!! Donations can be made at www.jamforjam.org.

These are pics of parts of a trophy that I am making for WAPL's 30th Anniversary. It is almost finished. My wife will paint on the lettering, because she is very good at that. I am looking to see if anyone else would want to get involved with the presentation. Other ideas (like a card signed by local musicians/artists) and more are possibilities.
