I think you've got a good start on something, especially if you are feeling a strong positive connection with what you've got [cuz that'll keep you inspired and motivated]. I'd personally be less inclined to call it a "song" [yet] as it's more a song fragment - it's a piece of something that could evolve into a song, but you'll have to figure out what story you want to tell ---- who you're talking to, [when you ask to be "saved"], and why you've decided to ask them to save you [standard stuff, really - who, where, when, what, why, ... good songs paint the pictures] ... I think you're going to need at least two more moving chunks of stuff that marry well to the chunk you've got, before you get into the ballpark of full 'song' status.
Really glad to see that you're hard at it, and that you've got a myspace page up & running, etc. Keep goin', and good on ya ...
