Dave Jamrog has played drums with such artists as Susan Werner, Texas bluesman Sherman Robertson, Grammy Award Nominee Mighty Sam McClain, and jazz legend Clark Terry's Big Bad Band (NCL Floating Jazz Festival shared bill with Dizzy Gillespie in 1993).
For the past eight years, Dave has been playing and touring with 8 time W.C. Handy (A National Blues Award) nominee Toni Lynn Washington, and JazzTimes Magazine featured artist Kate Schutt (new album "No Love Lost" released Jan 2007).
Most recent projects include drumming and / or producing / audio engineering for gospel rocking vocalist/guitarist Jen Murdza (Boston Music Award Nominee 2007) , Dave Coffin (www.myspace.com/davecoffin) Bangalore, an Indian and Middle-Eastern influenced improvisational rock trio with Sven Larson and Phil Kaplan, singer/songwriter Boston Philharmonic Violinist Jeff Louie and singer/songwriter Allyssa Jones.
In addition to playing, Dave teaches drums and percussion on faculty at the Boston Arts Academy, Boston's Pilot School for the arts, and has two private teaching studios in Boston and Southern New Hampshire.
Since 1995, Dave's recording company The SNAPPY TRACKS, an audio recording and production company and Music Production Company Visions Music, has been helping musicians, singer/songwriters, bands and classical music groups get their music recorded produced and duplicated.
His wife Vanessa Holroyd has many accolades as a classical flutist and event coordinator, and they live in Boston with their daughter Sally and shih tzu, Mr. Noodles.
