JamSpot rents fully equipped, high quality music studios for musicians of all ages, styles and skill levels. Each JamSpot studio is specifically designed for playing live music, providing an ideal environment for band rehearsals, recording, instruction or just jamming with friends. We’ve set up each room with high quality gear from companies like Fender, Marshall, Fishman, Yamaha, Zildjian, Ampeg and Mesa Boogie, so that players from pros to beginners can simply walk in, plug in and let it out. On any given day you can find groups like American HiFi, Five for Fighting, JoJo, The Click Five and the Roots playing next door to the next great band out of Boston or a bunch of friends thinking about putting the band back together.

JamSpot opened its first studio complex in Somerville in 2003 with 6 rooms. Since that time the company has grown to more than 5,000 customers, adding additional space in Somerville and recently opening a brand new JamSpot in Wakefield, MA. A two time winner of the Boston Phoenix’ Best of Boston Award and named one of Boston’s Best New Businesses by the Boston Globe, JamSpot is now the largest provider of high quality fully equipped rehearsal space in New England.

Studios can be rented by the hour, day or week whenever you need them, with no membership or monthly commitments. We're open every day from 10am to midnight, with discounted hourly rates until 6pm Monday through Friday and special rates for solo practice sessions. Both locations offer easy ground floor door load-in, with plenty of free, onsite parking for vans, trailers and buses.
