I have wayyyy to many influences. I am inspired by a lot of different genres of music and many different styles of voices. From New York, born and raised, Jamaal dreamed of being an elementary school teacher until he attended high school and participated in the school choir and theater productions. There is where his love for performing grew and became his newfound ambition. Jamaal has peformed for the First Lady Hillary Rodham Clinton as well as performed for the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. Jamaal's many interests in the field of theatre has lead him down many paths. He is also a choreographer who has choreographed many shows including Where's Charley?, Godspell, Pippin, Cabaret, and many more. Jamaal is currently writing the book to two original musicals.

I'm bound to keep my nouth shut but I just came back from Miami where I recorded three songs, one of which I found you've recorded, and done a damn good job of it may I add. BUT when they finish the mix (this summer, I guess), call Fresh Direct for a several gallons of Haterade.
