Then there's the outdoors - skiing, jeeping, scuba, mushroom hunting, star gazing, camping - and the occasional outdoor party, and just being outdoors. I also enjoy meeting people and the occasional intellectual discussions.

About me: I'm an independent researcher, author and lecturer in archaeoastronomy, astrotheology, ethnopharmacology, shamanism, symbolism, ancient and modern mythology, fertility cults, and ancient and modern religion.
I co-authored the book Astrotheology & Shamanism: Unveiling the Law of Duality in Christianity and Other Religions, 2006, with Andrew Rutajit. I also co-produced the DVD The Pharmacratic Inquisition, 2007, also with Andrew Rutajit. See www.gnosticmedia.com
I'm the curator of the official website for John Marco Allegro, the much criticized Dead Sea Scrolls scholar, and have contributed much to the re-examination of many of Allegro’s theories. See www.johnallegro.org
I contributed much of the research toward the academic article Wasson and Allegro on the Tree of Knowledge as Amanita, 2006, with Michael Hoffman. This article is to be published in The Journal of Higher Criticism, sometime in 2008.
I was featured in the documentaries The American Drug War, aired on Showtime; and the recently released Canadian film, High Jacking Humanity.
I have over 15 years of research into the study of ethno-pharmacology and drugs. Through the years I've given dozens of public speeches and radio interviews regarding these studies.
I'm happy to announce the release of our DVD and online video, The Pharmacratic Inquisition! The entire DVD is now available for online viewing. GnosticMedia.com or Pharmacratic-Inquisition.com
Here is a 2 part video of 2 people pretending to be a aspiring politician and a 19 year old prostitute who want to set up a child brothel, and launder the profits into the mans political campaign. However they need a house to set it up in. You'll be amazed at how helpful Acorn is. Please re-post this bulletin as a blog, bulletin, or whatever, as many times as you can wherever you can. Four men- A Persian, a Turk, an Arab, and a Greek- were standing in a village street. They were traveling companions, making for some distant place; but at this moment they were arguing over the spending of a single piece of money which was all that they had among them.
"I want ANGUR," said the Persian.
"I want UZUM," said the Turk.
"I want INAB," said the Arab.
"No!" said the Greek, "we should buy STAFIL."
Another traveler passing, a linguist, said, "Give the coin to me. I undertake to satisfy the desires of all of you."
At first they would not trust him. Ultimately they let him have the coin. He went to the shop of a fruit seller and bought four small bunches of grapes.
"This is my ANGUR," said the Persian.
"But this is what i call UZUM," said the Turk.
"You have brought me INAB," said the Arab.
"No!" said the Greek, "this in my language is STAFIL."
The grapes were shared out among them, and each realized that the disharmony had been due to his faulty understanding of the language of others.
*People know they want something, because there is an inner need existing in them. They may give it different names, but it is the same thing. All in all we all are looking for the same thing whether we are buddhist, christian, catholic, jewish, hindu, islamic, or any other indoctrinated religion institution. We all are looking for the same essential thing which is understanding our place in the world and in the universe by understanding God.
One day, some students learning under a wise Teacher of the path were jelous of his attachment to one of their own.
The Teacher, seeing the jelousy, called all of the students and ordered them to bring twenty birds. Each pupil was instructed to take one bird to a place where he could not be seen, and to kill it.
When they all returned, the birds were all dead; all except the one taken by the controversial student.
The Teacher asked him, in front of the other students, why he had not killed his bird.
"Because you told me to go to a place where I could not be seen, and there is no such place: God sees all, answered the favored student.
A Great Teacher of the Path was on his way to Baghdad, when the caravan which he was with was attacked by bandits.
When the robbers asked him for his possessions, the Teacher handed their cheif a pile of books and some gold coins. "I give these to you as a gift, so do not regard them as stolen," he said, "But make good use of them."
The robbers sneered, and their cheif said: "I suppose you are trying to teach us goodness?"
"No," said the Teacher, "I do not think that I can teach you anything. So, I am hoping that I can give you these items, books and money, freely and that in return you will do something for me with them."
"And what is that?"
"Find a wise man, give him these books and pay his upkeep. Let him at least teach your children about the evils of theft, so that they may not repeat your mistakes."
Relocating you was exactly what I needed. I'm sure that through you I should be able to find all of the information that my partners and I need. I'm still working my way through you interview with Jack Herer and have gleaned a few tidbits already. Thanks.
Once upon a time there was a cow. In all the world there was no animal which so regularly gave so much milk of such high quality.
People came from afar and wide to see this wonder. The cow was extolled by all. Fathers told their children of its dedication to its appointed task. Ministers of religion adjured their flocks to emulate it in their own way. Government officials referred to it as a paragon which right behavior, planning and thinking could duplicate in the human community. Everyone was, in short, able to benefit from the existence of this wonderful animal.
There was, however, one feature which most people, absorbed as they were by the obvious advantages of the cow, failed to observe. It had a little habit, you see. And this habit was that, as soon as a pail had been filled with its admittedly unparalleled milk-it kicked it over.
A Certain Teacher of the Path once said to his students: "We shall now practice the burning of the objects connected to our studies, the denunciation of the principles which all consider to be central to our beliefs, and the carrying out of our science in places other than the customary ones."
Taking this as a test of faith, many of his followers obeyed. Some even said: "How sublime that we should be learning to abadon externals, for this is surely a means of concentrating our attention upon essentials."
A few years after this, there was a great commotion in the city, in which this community was living. Someone came to them and said: "A decree has been passed declaring our activites illegal. We, the students of the path to truth, are being taken to prison; mobs and police are destroying our centres. We are unable to protect our property."
"Have no fear," said the Teacher to his students, "for our moment has come."
And when the mobs instigated by the tyrant of the country arrived a few minutes later, they did not pause, but swept past looking for victims. There was nothing that they could do at the Teacher's headquarters, for they could see that he and his people were busily dismantling it, and feeding bonfires with their property. By behaving as a mob the community maintained itself intact, and its members went free.
They are the only survivors of the path to truth from that entire country.
A well known Teacher of the path was asked, "What is invinsibility?"
"I will answer that when the opportunity arises." Answered the teacher.
Sometime later that teacher and the man who had asked him the question were stopped by a band of soldiers.
The soldiers said: "We have orders to take all students and teachers into custody, for the king of this country says that they will not obey his commands, and say things which are not welcome to the tranquility of thought of the populace."
The teacher said: "And so you should, for you must do your duty."
"But aren't you a teacher of the path?" Asked the soldiers.
"Test us," Said the teacher.
The soldier took out the holy book of the path to truth, which they hold dear, "What is this?" he said.
"Something which I will burn in front of you, since you have not already done so," he said.
The teacher set the light book on fire, and the soldiers rode away, satisfied.
The one who had asked the question earlier asked: "What was the purpose of that action?"
"To make us invinsible," said the teacher, "For to the man of the world, "visibility" means that you are looking like something or someone he expects you to resemble. If you look different your true nature becomes invinsible to him."
