About me:
I'm just a plain Jane...err...Jana who narrowly escaped becoming a full-blown redneck. (An amazing feat considering I'm a born and bred Mississippi girl! I mean, have you SEEN some of my family?)
A chronic singleton, I spend most of my time involved in books, family, work, friends and my spiritual quest to become closer to God.
I'm a writer, a dreamer, a closetted singer, an all around nice girl and a big ol' pain in the butt. Those last two alternate minute by minute. hehe.
No kids here, but I am the proud mother of two furbaby pooches--Izzy, currently living with my parents but still thinks it's her sole purpose in life to ruin every shirt I own with either mud or the ripping power of her Freddy Kruger like paws and the devilish Libby who seems intent on keeping me from doing anything that doesn't involve my attention being focused on her. hehehe
When I'm not at work, I'm usually dodging my loving, though somewhat interfering, family. This includes but is not limited to, two sisters, their husbands, two nieces (one from each sister), and my parents who by some miracle are still married after nearly 35 years!
Note to freaks: I'm not lookin' to hook up. Just makin' friends, dude. Seriously. You can leave your nasty messages elsewhere.
