First of all, Thanks for visiting. In my player you can hear the product of beeing 24 years into Music, especially into Drums. It all started on pots in the kitchen. Our staircase sounded really great, too. Infected by Drummers like Jason Bonham, Ian Paice and (very important) the Drumsolo in "In-A-Gada-da-Vida" by Ron Bushy I started learning Percussions at the age of 8.
There was a Drumset in the room in wich we were always waitig for our Percussionlessons. So I tried the first steps on my own, while becoming more and more focused on the Set. Than it happened: Nirvana!... Bamm! I reallyreally needed my own Set now without any compromises.
My brother Maik started playing guitar and we made our first steps playing Nirvana, Green Day etc. . When we needed a bass player, Mischa Marcks was requested. That was the founding of a group that would later become the NuMetal Band "Eshu", together with the Singer Daniil Rauchvarger. We played together till 2007, when the cicumstances of Mischas and my studies in other Cities left no space for rehearsels in Hannover.
At the Age of 15, my musical interests and the view on drums as an Instrument with a bottomles space of Sounds an approaches more and more expanded and I started playing in a Bigband and in smaller Jazz/Funk-Bands.
At that time one thing hit me real hard: Drum&Bass.
Mischa and I were always out on weekend..s Drum&Bass Parties. Fascinated by these grooves I started playing them on my drums, creating Hybridsets and integrating the Computer in our musical concept.
After graduating school I decided to study Drums as a possibility to check out other cities and becoming more professional on the drums. Since 2005 I study music and drums at the HfM "Carl Maria von Weber" Dresden, getting all these great inputs about music.
In 2006 I founded the Live-Drum&Bass Band "jamkabO:Om" as a conclusion of my addicion to that music and the fact that it is terribly much fun to chase them trough a fat Clup-PA.
Cause I can..t resist a tight Groove or a weired Sound, I play in many Bands and Projects, trying to make each sound different and as good as possible. It comes from Live-DnB to Free Jazz to Afro-Folk. You can hear some of them, like the Magnetic Boots, in my Player.
Occansionally I produce Tracks on my own, programming it with the Computer or playing the Intruments by myself.
