As a performer her songwriting and singing has been compared to Joni Mitchell, Michelle Shocked, Tim Buckley and Nick Drake. Her set includes her own material and covers of artists, such as Nina Simone and Mary Coughlan.
I am a singer, guitarist and songwriter who writes and plays a blend of music derived from folk, jazz and blues roots, occasionally peppered with latin influenced rhythms. The songs I write have been described as tough, compelling and powerful, tempered by a soulfulness that has an uncanny tranquillity about it.
My lyrics are influenced by my own and others experiences, overheard conversations, politics, social issues, books , poems, etc and they focus on social and political issues, as well as relationships.

Recently I have made an attempt at developing my jazz vocal techniques and have performed with a jazz band, a Congolese artist "MackGyl"and have collaborated with DJs "God Complex" and "DJ Fresh" to produce dance music using samples of my music. I am currently playing with a Bass Guitarist, Simon, and a guitarist, Joe. We are known as "La-di-da!" performing our own interpretation of jazz standards as well as our own songs.
I am also a member of the acoustic collective - (Please click on the AFC link in my friends)
Here are some videos of our practices at my and Joe's place so don't expect perfection. They are : a song I wrote LULLABY; "My Funny Valentine" AND NOW "Who Knows Where the Time Goes" written by Sandy Denny

Every time that we listen & write music... play an instrument... dance... act in a play... or work in some audio/image/video engineering process... something is healing inside...
When we share it with friends... something is healing all over...
Love can drive... in a simple way... everything
We are connected
