Time Out ***Jane Boxall’s performance at Sheffield Cathedral was a highlight of the series – a wonderfully innovative programme, beginning with Jane’s own transcription of some J.S. Bach, but centred on the music of today, all performed with panache, verve and passion. Jane Boxall is an excellent ambassador for the Marimba and its repertoire, and those fortunate to hear her fantastic recital, interpolated with illuminating and informative dialogue, went away with a greater understanding of this wonderful instrument.
