***Boxall’s playing has a very high standard and her musicality speaks clearly throughout every piece*** Percussive Notes
****Boxall demonstrates the marimba’s wonderful niche combining percussive power and sweetness of tone. Victoria Poleva’s “Warm Wind” (2008) and Eve Beglarian’s “Spherical Music” (1985/1998) display how the instrument, in Boxall’s expert hands, conjures a tremendous range of effects. Quiet passages feel delicately atmospheric and meditative; louder ones ruminate, rumble and grow stormy*** 7 days, Burlington Vermont
***precise technique and superb musicianship*** Chicago Tribune
***The instrument has a natural quality, simply the vibration that occurs when mallets hit wood. It could probably sound clunky in unskilled hands, but Boxall makes it sound light and rhythmic, as if she’s controlling a storm of falling raindrops...sometimes the quick notes make it hard to believe everything is performed by a single person*** Innocent Words magazine
***impressive [indrukwekkende]*** Radio Mona Lisa, Netherlands
***"The repertoire is extremely interesting, the playing is unbelievable,
and the sound is wonderful... The CD is a real winner***
Nancy Van de Vate, composer
***a diminutive performer who harnesses the sound of the 500-pound marimba like a lion tamer*** www.smilepolitely.com
***killer technique and inspired musicality*** Drum! magazine, US
***She has an ability that captivates even the most skeptical*** www.the217.com
***MARIMBA MAGIC***
USA-based marimba virtuoso Jane Boxall delighted a capacity audience with her music ... Jane performed pieces by many international composers showing off the full tonal range of this beautiful instrument.*** www.ccanw.co.uk
***A quintessentially natural performer. . . Incredible presence. Her body sings with movement and pure joy. She bowled [us] over with her musicality and her extramusical capacity to communicate.***
News-Gazette, Champaign IL
***You haven't heard the marimba if you haven't heard Jane play the marimba... she
mesmerizes her audiences with her virtuosic talent*** Prairie Breezes, Urbana IL

Yep...things are pretty busy right now, thankfully. I'm moving to Batavia next week. Moving sucks!! I hope all is well with you. Your tracks sound great.
Thanks for the request Jane, I'm so glad you found me. Your music is mesmerizing. The white night & beaver song reminded me of a music box in Boothbay Harbor, Maine - fond memories. Beautiful!
Many thanks for the friend request, and the order of John Psathas' One Study One Summary. It is a truly fascinating piece and I'm sure you will enjoy performing it.

Thanks for friendship Jane... NiceMARIMBA ! really !! I like it to much... The Life of a man is made up of a series of dreams which write our history, as well as our children, who then start to write their own. I decided to continue writing mine as soon as I began to dream in early childhood. One doesn't need to stop the journey along the way. It is necessary to believe that the stars which light our way will never go out, and to continue to follow our dreams which inspire us in the most beautiful moments of our lives. If not, why is my star helping me to write so many fine melodies? I composed a suite for my dream, called " Melody for an Oscar", and I am convinced that one day someone will help me to reach for that Oscar in Hollywood, which I have always imagined in my dreams. No matter what, my dreams have enhanced my musical creativity, and for that I am thankful. Warmest regards, Didier EUZET http://www. oscarmelody. com
Good luck on your move but please stay from Albuquerque because everyone thinks I'm the best in the world. If they hear another, I'll be number two for sure! I must warn you that I'm in the Marimba Mafia. Your move is definately Illinois' loss!
