Burn those lilies because
this love affair is over...
Yeah, that could easily be said about Jane Doe and the music
these guys are making. Seems like the band Jane Doe’s been
around forever. But, when you think about it, they have been lurking
in the shadows of great music only for a short time. In some sense,
Jane Doe is familiar to a lot of people. But at the same time
you feel that you don’t really know them at all; that their presence is
a little blurry. And you end up thinking about what is it that hits you
when you watch the boys play live - or when you listen to a few of
the bootlegs and demos that have been floating around over the
years. This time around, though, the shit is for real. The first real
album from a band that is as real as the Grand Canyon. They say
that the spirits of Native American tribes roam the Grand Canyon.
Well, there’s spirituality roaming this album, too. Jane Doe
is ready. Long may you roam and enjoy the ride together with this
familiar yet untouchable band.
