Obsessive compulsive shopper, although trying to curb that given I'm in the middle of a divorce... passionate gardener and cook - English gardens my thing, and seasonal, organic cooking - attempt to grow all veg and some fruit myself. Also amateur doctor and hypochondriac, specialty: dermatology (i have cupboards STUFFED with lotions and potions for every kind of rash and itch you can imagine.) Am tempted to write yoga and pilates, but neither are true (Seem to have developed an acute allergy to exercise). Also, obviously, reading and writing. | | Music | Damien Rice, Rufus Wainwright, Ben Taylor, John Legend, Jack Johnson, Pharrell, kd Lang, Cat Stevens, Dave Matthews, Gil Scott Heron, Martha Wainwright, Aaron Neville | | Movies | Lost in Translation, Groundhog Day (have seen it - seriously - about forty times), Grace of my Heart, Truly Madly Deeply, Brokeback Mountain, Romuald et Juliet. | | Television | Used to be severely addicted to all Law & Orders and CSI's, then realised I wasn't reading... Now I watch hardly anything, although find myself catching the late shows from time to time, and ADORE Craig Ferguson. | | Books | Too, too many to mention, but a few of my favourites include: Brother of the more Famous Jack by Barbara Trapido, Slow Motion by Dani Shapiro, The Book of Joe by Jonathan Tropper, Rachel's Holiday by Marian Keyes, A Family Daughter by Maile Meloy, The Magician's Assistant by Ann Patchett.
