    March 2012. -------------- Jane Helen is a five member Norwegian rock band located in Oslo. When the world entered the millennium, Jane Helen entered the scene. The band has been ranting and raving the stage at venues all over Norway ever since. Jane Helen's shows are known to be somewhat visually inevitable, which explains why the presenter of a Red Cross charity concert introduced these rockers as "someone in need of therapy". It's not that everything about these rockers' always has to be so "wild" or "crazy". It's more the fact that they tend to fall into what they do with such intense immersion that the expression becomes somewhat theatrical or performance like. There are three main musical elements that shift on terminating the direction of each song; fast forward rythmic riffs, soft melodic harmonies, or filthier, darker tail heavy themes. The result is an eclectic journey through the rock n roll landscape. Jane Helens music dwells between light simplicity and darker, filthier rythms. There's always an element of punk, but labelling the band as as a punk rock band, simply doesn't do it. This indierock phenomena has been radio listed in Norway, Sweden, USA and Germany - they even appeared in ElleGirl Korea issue on European indie hot stuff. JH has released an EP and a CD, an now their newer beats are ready for a digital EP release this spring 2012.
